In 1908 Giovanni Abramo created Tipografia Popolare (Popular Typography). He was the founder of a family of business men that has been successful straight up to the forth generation today. In the 50’s, Popular Typography was named Arti Grafiche Abramo di Antonio Abramo (Abramo Graphic Arts by Antonio Abramo), becoming actually a firm.

At that time, the first type of production consisted in printing and publishing important newspapers and magazines for Calabria region divulgation; therefore, during that period, Abramo played a very important role in the society and for the economy of Catanzaro and of Calabria Region. However such role has been so important throughout the decades that a lot of attention has been put on technological development by becoming, step by step, a Publisher in every respect (Abramo Editore).

The company has used the best technology by guaranteeing high quality standards and great customers’ satisfaction.
Grafiche Abramo (today Abramo Printing & Logistics) has developed throughout the years the ability to satisfy every demand, especially by Public offices, for graphic products.
By the end of the 80’s , the prestigious Institute of Italian Treccani Encyclopaedia started to benefit from Grafiche Abramo’s services for the printing of its volumes.

Although traditionally operational in the Printing business, in the 90’s the company enlarged its commercial offer aiming at the logistics business and progressive services.
As the New Economy era arrived, the company consistently developed its range of supplied services such as Integrated Logistics, E-procurement, Printing, Mail delivery, Optical document capture and Multimedia Contact centre.
